Just this past week, United We Can put the final touches on their new sales video and released a national Press Release announcing our partnership with some of the top Hotels in the Vancouver area. One of those hotels who contributed to our sales video and played a prominent role in the Press Release was L’Hermitage Hotel. L’Hermitage Hotel is located on the corner of Richards and Robson Street in the very heart of Vancouver’s shopping and entertainment district and only blocks from its financial centre. L’Hermitage Hotel is a 60-room small luxury Boutique hotel, clean-lined, coolly stylish with just a touch of urban sophistication. We offer traditional hotel rooms and suites in addition to One and Two Bedroom homes complete with fully-equipped kitchen.
Although, L’Hermitage Hotel Vancouver is a very environmental conscious organization, we felt we could be more involved to alleviate sustainable solutions and to advocate the rights of people in need. United we can operates at the political level advancing policies and programs that improve living conditions and offers individuals an opportunity at employment where as they may not have been able to through regular means. L’Hermitage Hotel Vancouver was looking to work with an organisation that paid it forward by providing employment for those less fortunate and by donating 100% of the proceeds from those recycled material to that organisation.
The team at United We Can was forthcoming with answers to our questions and were knowledgeable about how their program would help the community. There was an ease with which the program was setup that in no way affected our daily operations and it also brought pride and gratification to our staff to know they were participating in a worthwhile endeavor.
